I will dominate 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
